I. Subject: In response to the implementation of the 12-year basic education curriculum, to implement diversified teaching and extracurricular activities.
II. Objectives:
((1) To inspire students' potential in information creation by using LEGO educational building blocks to learn programming structures and basic mechanical concepts for robotics.
((2) To enhance students' logical thinking and mechanical design abilities, foster cooperation, and arrange participation in external competitions to achieve excellent results and bring honor to the school.
III. Activity Description:
((1) Organizer: Academic Affairs Office, Taoyuan Junior High School. Co-organizers: Student Affairs Office, General Affairs Office, Counseling Office.
((2) Participants: Students from our school, participants of the Self-Directed Learning 3.0 Lab, and students from neighboring elementary and junior high schools. Beginners with no prior experience are also welcome.
((3) Number of students to be recruited: 15-20 students.
((4) Course Fee: The hourly fees for the instructor and assistant will be shared equally by the participants, totaling NT$1,500.
((5) Activity Equipment: Students are expected to bring their own equipment as a general rule. If school equipment is to be used, a deposit of NT$1,000 is required. The full deposit will be refunded upon completion of the course with no missing or damaged parts. A fee will be charged for any lost parts.
((6) Activity Location: Exploration Classroom, 3rd Floor, Science Building.
((7) Instructors: External instructors - Happy Robot: Ms. Huang Ya-chien; Mr. Chu Jing-min.
((8) Class Schedule:August 14-18, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
