| Subject: | To strengthen the promotion of animal protection education, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education commissioned National Taichung University of Education to compile the "Animal Protection Education - Companion Animals" teaching materials and lesson plans. These have been uploaded to the Curriculum and Instruction Resources Integration Platform (CIRN) for elementary and junior high schools. Please be informed. |

| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education, dated July 13, 2023, Ref. No. 1120092858. |
| 2. | The aforementioned teaching materials and lesson plans include animal protection teaching materials (e-books), companion animal informational materials (posters, infographics), and demonstration videos of companion animals integrated into various stages (elementary, junior high, and senior high vocational) of curriculum and instruction. These have been uploaded to the Curriculum and Instruction Resources Integration Platform (CIRN) for elementary and junior high schools (Website: https://cirn.moe.edu.tw/WebFile/index.aspx?sid=25&mid=14771) and announced on the Department's website (URL: https://www.k12ea.gov.tw/Tw/Common/Download1?filter=043F1AEB-690C-4F45-924E-D1C90AE7694E) for download. Please assist your school in promoting these resources through various meetings and the school website, and consider using them in your curriculum and instruction across different subjects. |
