To inform you about the selection of one native English teaching consultant for the 112th academic year by the city's English Teaching Resource Center.

For your information, regarding the selection of one national teaching consultant for the City's English Teaching Resource Center (hereinafter referred to as the English Resource Center) for the 112th academic year.

Explanation:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the Department) letter No. 1120084149 dated July 6, 112, and the Guidelines for the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Subsidy for Promoting English Teaching in National and Junior High Schools.

2. The Department subsidizes the city to establish the English Resource Center and its operational staffing costs in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines. It is planned to subsidize the city's English Resource Center to hire one national teaching consultant to assist the city in implementing the part-time foreign English Teaching Assistant Program (hereinafter referred to as the ELTA Program), to assist with relevant administrative tasks, and to establish a communication channel between ELTA program teaching assistants and schools. The details are as follows:
(1) Qualifications:
1. Graduation from a university or higher in an English-related department, or possession of a junior high school English specialist teacher certificate, with at least three years of English teaching experience (mandatory).
2. Previous experience assisting in English activities or participating in bilingual programs.
3. Personality traits such as enthusiasm for service, willingness to cooperate in a team, and good communication skills.
4. English proficiency at the B2 level or above, with good English communication and coordination skills.
5. Experience in co-planning, co-teaching, or supervising teaching with foreign national teaching staff is preferred.
(2) Employment Period: From August 1, 112, to July 31, 113 (the employment period is from the actual start date of employment to July 31, 113).
(3) Service Location: City's English Resource Center (Wenchang Junior High School).
(4) Duties:
1. Provide ELTA teaching guidance, assist schools in supervising ELTA teaching assistants, and hold regular PLC meetings with ELTAs monthly.
2. Participate in ELTA Northern District liaison and consultation meetings, and maintain cooperation with the team.
3. Assist in supervising foreign teachers and foreign teaching assistants introduced through other Ministry of Education programs, and handle other temporary assignments.
(5) Other matters shall be handled in accordance with the aforementioned relevant regulations.

3. The national teaching consultant shall, in principle, be an "incumbent full-time teacher concurrently serving." If the vacant teaching hours are filled by a substitute teacher, the maximum subsidy per person per academic year shall be NT$650,000; if filled by a part-time substitute teacher, the maximum shall be NT$500,000 per person per academic year, and the budget shall be allocated based on the actual number of reduced teaching hours. If the subsidy funds are insufficient, the Taoyuan City Government Department of Education will provide additional subsidies separately.

4. Teachers who are enthusiastic and meet the aforementioned qualifications are encouraged to apply for the national teaching consultant position. Those interested should complete the resume form, sign it, and email the scanned copy and electronic files of the required documents to the City's English Resource Center email address: wev@mail.wcjhs.tyc.edu.tw by 5:00 PM on July 26, 112 (Wednesday).
