| 1. | Based on the official letter from the Center for Mathematics and Science Education, National Taiwan Normal University, dated July 31, 112, with reference number 1121021417. |
| 2. | The details of the aforementioned matter are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | The instructor must possess a certificate from the relevant training courses offered by the Center. |
| 2. | Those who have not yet completed the training can submit a training concept plan, and must complete the training and obtain the certificate before the application deadline. For example, if you plan to participate in the training for the "Highlight Base Program," the training for local group organizers, the training for organizers offered by the Center, or the "Foundation into the Classroom Collaborative Training," or if you intend to gather 15 teachers of the same grade level (intermediate or upper elementary) to apply for a training activity, the instructor must complete the training before commencing the in-class teaching practice. |
| (2) | Application Period: Thursday, August 10, 112, to Friday, September 15, 112, 5:00 PM. The scanned application form and project proposal must be uploaded to the project reporting system before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted. |
| (3) | Application Method: |
| 1. | All applications must be submitted online through the reporting system: https://teach.k12ea.gov.tw/ (Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, K-12 Curriculum and Instruction Project Reporting System / Mathematics Foundation into the Classroom Teaching Practice). |
| 2. | Log in and register using your Education Cloud account to submit your application. Applications should be based on the number of classes in the intermediate grades (3rd and 4th grade), upper elementary grades (5th and 6th grade), or junior high school group that can conduct in-class teaching practice. |
| 3. | All submitted project proposals must be signed by the applicant and the principal. They must be scanned and uploaded to the project reporting system by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 112. Late submissions will not be accepted. |
| 4. | Following the review of the applications, the list of approved schools is expected to be announced on the Center's website on August 28 and September 18, 112. |
| (4) | Mathematics Foundation into the Classroom Teaching Practice: |
| 1. | Teaching Method: Must include teaching practice of at least two units per class. |
| 2. | Teaching Content: The content should be based on modules developed by the Center, such as "Mathematics Foundation into the Classroom," "Mathematics Foundation Activities," "Literacy Packages," "Micro-courses," "Literacy Assessments," or "Independent Exploration." The teaching practice can be adjusted by the instructor based on the on-site situation. |
| 3. | Program Period: August 30, 112, to January 19, 113. |
| (5) | Subsidy: |
| 1. | The teaching practice primarily subsidizes teaching materials, printing costs, and consultation (writing) fees. However, for "Independent Exploration," only printing costs and consultation (writing) fees are provided. Please refer to the application form for subsidy details regarding micro-courses. |
| 2. | Subsidy for Teaching Materials: Large classes (16 or more students) will be subsidized NT$2,250 (for two units, NT$1,125 per unit), and small classes (15 or fewer students) will be subsidized NT$1,125 (for two units, approximately NT$563 per unit). The subsidy is calculated based on the number of units. |
| 3. | Subsidy for Printing Costs: Large classes (16 or more students) will be subsidized NT$300, and small classes (15 or fewer students) will be subsidized NT$150. This is calculated per class. |
| 4. | Miscellaneous Fees: Depending on actual needs, these can be covered by the teaching materials and printing cost subsidies, with a maximum limit of 8%. Please refer to the reimbursement manual for details on reimbursement. |
| 5. | Consultation (Writing) Fee: A consultation report must be filled out for each class, with a subsidy of NT$1,000 per report. Consultation content includes pre-class questionnaires, analysis of immediate assessment results, and student learning outcomes consultation. |
| 6. | Within two weeks after the activity concludes, please mail the relevant receipts along with the student learning outcomes consultation feedback form, pre-class questionnaire, and immediate assessment questionnaire for reimbursement. The postmark date will be used as the reference. Late submissions will not be accepted. |
| 7. | The student learning outcomes consultation feedback form and the student photo consent form are mandatory documents. If they are not completed fully, the aforementioned subsidies will not be provided. |
| (6) | Notes: |
| 1. | Documents to be submitted after the activity concludes: |
| (1) | Student learning outcomes consultation feedback form, student photo consent form (submit as electronic files). |
| (2) | Student pre-class questionnaire, immediate assessment questionnaire (submit as hard copies). |
| (3) | 5 photos per class (can be included in the student learning outcomes consultation feedback form and submitted as electronic files). |
| 2. | Some approved schools will be selected for on-site visits by committee members. Notification will be sent separately. |
| (7) | If the activity needs to be canceled, please inform the organizer by phone or email in advance. |
| (8) | The Center for Mathematics and Science Education, National Taiwan Normal University, reserves the right to make the final decision on the list of approved participants.
