Explanation:
1. In accordance with the Ministry of the Interior's letter No. Nei-shou-yi-zi-11209118661 dated July 24, 112 (2023), and enclosing a copy of the original letter.
2. According to the "Guidelines for Online Application for Civil Servants and Specific Personnel in the Taiwan Region to Enter the Mainland China Region," the application and itinerary change periods for traveling to the mainland China region are as follows:
(1) Civil servants at the 11th rank and above, not involving national security, interests, or secrets, shall apply through the online system at least 2 working days before the date of entry into the mainland China region.
(2) Political appointees and mayors of special municipalities (including retired personnel from the above two categories) shall apply through the online system at least 7 working days before the date of entry into the mainland China region.
(3) For changes to the itinerary (dates, duration, or activities) for travel to the mainland China region, applications for itinerary changes must be submitted through the online system before traveling to the mainland China region or before the itinerary change.

Furthermore, according to Article 4 of the "Operational Guidelines for Civil Servants at the 10th rank and below, and police officers at the 4th rank and below, not involving national security interests or secrets, traveling to the mainland China region," applicants shall complete the application form and submit it to their respective agencies at least 5 working days before the scheduled departure date for the mainland China region. Agency heads shall apply to their direct superior agencies. Changes to the itinerary (dates, duration, or activities) for travel to the mainland China region shall also be applied to the competent authority before traveling to the mainland China region or before the itinerary change.
