| 1. | This is handled in accordance with the "Incentive Program for Junior High School Teachers in Public and Private Schools in this City to Participate in Native Language Specialty Credit Classes." |
| 2. | In response to the integration of native language courses as a mandatory requirement for junior high school students starting from the 111 academic year, this program is established to encourage junior high school teachers in this city to pursue specialty credit classes in native languages, expand the capacity of native language teachers in this city's junior high schools, and enhance the professional competence of native language teachers. |
| 3. | The implementation details of the aforementioned program are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligible recipients: Full-time teachers and long-term substitute teachers within the established staffing of public and private junior high schools (including junior high divisions attached to senior high schools) in this city. |
| (2) | Incentive standards: Awards will be given based on the year of completion of the credit classes; repeated calculations are not allowed. |
| 1. | Teachers who have completed the native language specialty credit class courses (including Minnan, Hakka, and Indigenous language credit classes) and obtained certificates of completion, but have not yet passed the native language proficiency test (intermediate-high level or above for Minnan language proficiency tests administered by the Ministry of Education or its designated schools, institutions, or corporations; intermediate-high level or above for Hakka language proficiency tests administered by the Hakka Affairs Council; and advanced level or above for Indigenous language proficiency tests administered by the Council of Indigenous Peoples), will receive one commendation each. |
| 2. | Teachers who have completed the native language specialty credit class courses (including Minnan, Hakka, and Indigenous language credit classes) and obtained certificates of completion, and have also passed the native language proficiency test (intermediate-high level or above for Minnan language proficiency tests administered by the Ministry of Education or its designated schools, institutions, or corporations; intermediate-high level or above for Hakka language proficiency tests administered by the Hakka Affairs Council; and advanced level or above for Indigenous language proficiency tests administered by the Council of Indigenous Peoples), will receive two commendations each. |
| (3) | Incentive application and procedures: Teachers who meet the incentive standards should submit an application with a photocopy of their certificate of completion for the credit classes to the school's academic affairs office (a sample application form is attached as Appendix 1). The school will process the commendation according to its authority after reviewing and approving the application. |
