"Outdoor Education Under the Lens" - Call for entries for the Outdoor Education Photography Exhibition

Subject: To inform you about the "Outdoor Education Through the Lens" outdoor education photography exhibition and call for submissions, details as per the following, please be informed.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1120098808 dated August 1, 112 (2023).
2. To showcase the achievements of outdoor education promoted in teaching sites over the past decade, the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration") plans to organize this photography exhibition. Through the call for submissions, teachers are encouraged to lead students out of the classroom to promote meaningful learning. It is also hoped that through the exhibition, the spirit of self-initiation, interaction, and mutual benefit practiced by students in real ecological and humanistic environments can be conveyed.
3. The details of the aforementioned call for submissions are as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Current teachers (including substitute and temporary teachers) or teaching support staff in senior high schools and below. Participation is limited to individuals; teams are not allowed to register.
(2) Submission Deadline: From now until December 28, 112 (2023) (Thursday) at 11:59 PM.
(3) Submission Categories:
1. Photo Category: Primarily focuses on the educational significance demonstrated through teacher-student interaction. Based on the curriculum implementation context, there are 3 categories: Mountain Exploration, Aquatic Activities, and Other Fields.
2. Short Film Category: Limited to 3-minute videos. Based on the main theme of the short film, there are 3 categories: Historical Review, Teaching Process, and Image Promotion.
(4) The time of shooting is not limited to the submission period of this event.
(5) Event Schedule and Submission Method:
1. First Stage [Online Registration and Submission]: From now until December 28, 112 (2023) (Thursday) at 11:59 PM, register and submit online at the Ministry of Education's Outdoor Education Resource Platform (https://outdoor.moe.edu.tw).
2. After the preliminary review and selection, the team commissioned by the Ministry of Education's Administration will notify participants who pass the preliminary review via email. Works not selected will not be notified separately.
3. Second Stage [Physical Submission for Preliminary Review Passers]: Those who pass the preliminary review are requested to submit the original work specifications (film negatives or electronic files), proof of employment, original copy of the copyright license and personal data protection act notification consent form, and receipt within the deadline, tentatively from February 19, 113 (2024) (Monday) to February 29, 113 (2024) (Thursday), for subsequent review.
(6) Awards will be given to 3 "Special Excellence" winners, 5 "Excellence" winners, and 5 "Honorable Mention" winners in each category. The awards are as follows:
1. Special Excellence: Awarded a certificate and a prize of NT$10,000.
2. Excellence: Awarded a certificate and a prize of NT$5,000.
3. Honorable Mention: Awarded a certificate.
