Call for entries for the outdoor education photography exhibition

Subject: To inform you about the call for entries for the "Outdoor Education Through the Lens" photography exhibition organized by National Taiwan Ocean University, commissioned by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education. Details are as follows. Please acknowledge receipt.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the letter from National Taiwan Ocean University (hereinafter referred to as NTOU) dated October 2, 112 (Republic of China calendar), with reference number 1120023586.
2. In response to the "Decade Review of Outdoor Education" series of activities, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, has commissioned the NTOU Taiwan Ocean Education Center to organize the aforementioned event. The total prize money for submissions is NT$330,000. A "Photography Special Exhibition" will be held in conjunction with the 2024 Outdoor Education Annual Conference for national display. Teachers are cordially invited to showcase their talents, present the beauty of Taiwan from diverse perspectives, and use images as a medium of communication to document the wonderful moments of this land in various forms.
3. The theme of the aforementioned call for entries is "Outdoor Education Through the Lens." The summarized information is as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Current teachers (including substitute and temporary teachers) or teaching support staff in senior high schools and below. Participation is limited to individuals; team entries are not permitted.
(2) Submission Deadline: From now until December 28, 112 (Thursday), 11:59 PM.
(3) Submission Categories:
1. Photo Category: Primarily focused on the educational significance of teacher-student interaction. Divided into three subcategories based on the curriculum implementation setting: "Mountain and Wilderness Exploration, Water Activities, and Other Settings."
2. Short Film Category: Limited to 3-minute videos. Divided into three subcategories based on the main theme of the short film: "Historical Review, Teaching Process, and Promotional Content."
(4) Event Schedule and Submission Method:
1. Phase 1 [Online Registration and Submission]: From now until December 28, 112, 11:59 PM. Register and submit online via the Ministry of Education Outdoor Education Resource Platform (https://outdoor.moe.edu.tw).
2. After the preliminary review, the NTOU Taiwan Ocean Education Center will notify participants who pass the preliminary review via email. Entries that do not pass the preliminary review will not be individually notified.
3. Phase 2 [Hard Copy Submission for Preliminary Round Qualifiers]: Those who pass the preliminary review are required to submit the original film negatives or digital files, proof of employment, original copyright and personal data protection consent forms, and receipts within the specified period, tentatively from February 19, 113, to February 29, 113, for subsequent review.
(5) Awards will be given to 3 "Special Excellence" winners, 5 "Excellence" winners, and 5 "Honorable Mention" winners in each category. The awards are as follows:
1. Special Excellence: Awarded a certificate and a prize of NT$10,000.
2. Excellence: Awarded a certificate and a prize of NT$5,000.
3. Honorable Mention: Awarded a certificate.
