| Subject: | Regarding the principles for calculating service hours for "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" in the 113th academic year's Five-Year Junior College Joint Entrance Examination, as detailed below, please be informed. |
| Details: |
| 1. | Our committee previously notified all junior high schools on December 2, 110 (2021), with the official document No. 1102130189, and announced on the official admissions website. In response to the impact of the pandemic on students' participation in on-campus service-learning courses and activities, or volunteer or community service off-campus, the principles for calculating "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" points were adjusted to award 1 point for every 4 hours of service (with a maximum of 7 points, equivalent to 28 hours). This adjustment was applicable only to the calculation of service learning points for the 111th and 112th academic year's Five-Year Junior College Joint Entrance Examinations. This is for your reference. |
| 2. | For the 113th academic year's Five-Year Junior College Joint Entrance Examination, the calculation of points for "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" will revert to the original principle, where 1 point is awarded for every 8 hours of service (with a maximum of 7 points, equivalent to 56 hours). |
