| Subject: | Regarding the principles for calculating service learning hours for the "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" component of the 5-year junior college priority admission for the 113th academic year, as detailed below. Please be informed. |
| Details: |
| 1. | This committee previously notified all junior high schools on December 2, 110 (2021), via letter No. 1102130188, and announced on the official admissions website. In response to the impact of the pandemic on students' participation in on-campus service learning courses and activities, or in off-campus volunteer or community services, the principles for calculating "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" points were adjusted. For every full hour of service, 0.5 points will be awarded (maximum 15 points, equivalent to 30 hours). This adjustment was applicable only to the calculation of service learning points for the 5-year junior college priority admissions in the 111th and 112th academic years. This is for your reference. |
| 2. | For the 113th academic year's 5-year junior college priority admission, the calculation of points for "Diverse Learning Performance - Service Learning" will revert to the original principle: 0.25 points will be awarded for every full hour of service (maximum 15 points, equivalent to 60 hours). |
