Explanation:
I. In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Election Commission dated October 13, 112 (2023), document number 1123150278.

II. According to the Ministry of Education's letter dated September 4, 108 (2019), document number 1080077978, public school teachers serving as chief administrators, chief supervisors, and administrators of polling stations shall be granted official leave for the period from the day before the election to the township office for collecting ballots and setting up the polling station. The hourly wages for the classes missed due to this official leave shall be reimbursed to facilitate the smooth progress of election duties.

III. The following are related matters to note for election duties:
(I) Faculty and staff participating in election duty training sessions shall, in principle, register for official leave and manage their own classes. If they choose to attend sessions on Saturdays, Sundays, or in the evenings due to class schedules or other reasons, they may take compensatory leave for half a day, to be completed within two years, provided that they manage their own classes.
(II) Chief administrators, chief supervisors, and administrators serving in election duties shall be granted official leave with substitute arrangements for the period from the day before the election to the township office for collecting ballots and setting up polling stations. The necessary expenses shall be covered by the personnel expenses of each school.
