112nd academic year "Project to Enhance Teacher Teaching Professionalism and Curriculum Quality - Media Literacy Education Workshop for Primary and Secondary School Teachers"

Subject: Forwarding the case of the city's "Project to Enhance Teacher Professional Development and Curriculum Quality - Junior and Elementary School Teacher Media Literacy Education Workshop" for the 112 academic year, please be informed.
Explanation:  
I. In accordance with the Bureau's Official Letter No. 1120100211 dated October 3, 112.
II. To train seed teachers in media literacy education, strengthen teachers' ability to use, critically analyze, and practically apply media, and cultivate students' and citizens' independent learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, the aforementioned workshop is specially organized.
III. The relevant information for this event is listed as follows:
(1) Workshop Theme: Media and Information Literacy: Information Interpretation and Media Literacy Teaching Sharing.
(2) Workshop Speaker: Mr. Chang Chia-lun, Teacher from Beixin Elementary School, New Taipei City, and a trainer for the Ministry of Education's Media Literacy Education Training.
(3) Workshop Date and Time: December 2, 112 (Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
(4) Target Audience and Number of Participants: Junior and elementary school teachers in the city.
1. Each junior high school must nominate one representative to participate (priority given to teachers in integrated subjects). Participants are requested to share and exchange information within their subject areas upon returning to school after the workshop.
2. Considering the quality of the hands-on workshop, the maximum number of participants is 60, and the organizing school will conduct the review.
(5) Registration Method: Please register directly on the city's Education Resources Development Portal. Registration closes on November 29, 112 (Wednesday) at 4:00 PM. Workshop ID: J00039-231000001.
IV. The Bureau agrees that participants will be granted official (duty) leave. If the event falls on a weekend or holiday, compensatory leave can be applied for within 2 years from the workshop date based on actual attendance (teaching duties are the responsibility of the individual). No overtime pay will be provided.
