Subject: Regarding the Ministry of Education's continued offering of in-service credit classes for teachers in primary and secondary schools in 113, please ensure your school completes the recommendation process by November 20, 112 (Monday). Details are provided in the explanation. Please acknowledge receipt.
Explanation:
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated November 8, 112, No. Tai Jiao Shi (San) Zi Di 1122604536B.
II. To enrich the teacher pool and enhance the proportion of specialized instruction in certain junior high school subjects, the Ministry of Education will coordinate with teacher training universities to offer the aforementioned credit classes during the summer of 113 or at a suitable time, based on the needs submitted. The classes include "In-service Credit Class for Enhancing Technology Field Expertise" and "In-service Credit Class for Second Specializations." Please refer to the recommendation form's explanation column for the principles of class offerings and recommendation qualifications.
III. To facilitate the Ministry of Education's subsequent review process, please evaluate your school's teacher structure, student learning needs, and school size. For fields or subjects with teacher shortages (including indigenous languages), please recommend candidates who meet the qualifications for the aforementioned classes and a list of teachers who can attend the classes. The recommendation order must be specified (each teacher can only be recommended for one subject; do not submit duplicate recommendations).
IV. Please have each school thoroughly assess its internal teacher structure across all fields or subjects. For subjects with insufficient teachers (e.g., Information Technology, Technology Education, Home Economics, Earth Science, Performing Arts, Health Education, and Scouting, etc.), encourage teachers to pursue second specializations and recommend teachers to attend the second specialization credit classes to meet the principle of specialized instruction.
V. Additionally, the "In-service Credit Class for Enhancing Technology Education in Junior and Senior High Schools" will be offered for the last time in 113 for needs assessment and class offerings. Please encourage eligible teachers to participate.
VI. Please ensure that your school sends the stamped PDF file (including the original Excel file) directly to the mailbox of the承辦人 (person in charge) in the Junior High School Education Section of this bureau (10040781@ms.tyc.edu.tw) by November 20, 112 (Monday), without a formal cover letter. If your school has no need to recommend teachers, please also fill in "None" in the recommendation form and return it, so that this bureau can report to the Ministry of Education for processing. Furthermore, for the overall review process, late submissions will not be accepted.
VII. Attached are the needs and recommendation forms for the "In-service Credit Class for Enhancing Technology Field Expertise" and "In-service Credit Class for Second Specializations" for junior and senior high school teachers in 113.
