Sharing Session on Overseas Short-Term Study Experience for Junior High and Elementary School English Teachers in the 112th Year

| Subject: | Forwarding the "112 National Elementary and Junior High School English Teacher Overseas Short-Term Study Experience Sharing Session" Implementation Plan, commissioned by the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") and organized by National Taiwan Normal University. Please handle according to the following instructions. For your reference. |
| Instructions: |
| I. | In accordance with the Department's official letter dated November 16, 112 (2023), No. 1120160171, and National Taiwan Normal University's official letter dated November 13, 112 (2023), No. 1121033210. |
| II. | To enable elementary and junior high school English teachers to understand the content of overseas short-term study programs and new knowledge in overseas teaching, the Department has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the aforementioned experience sharing session. Relevant information is listed below: |
| (1) | Time: January 7, 113 (Sunday), from 8:45 AM to 5:10 PM. |
| (2) | Location: Conference Room J201, College of Education Building, Library Campus, National Taiwan Normal University (No. 129, Section 1, Heping East Road, Da'an District, Taipei City). |
| (3) | Participants: |
| 1. | Elementary and junior high school English teachers invited to host or share their experiences from the 112 (2023) overseas short-term study program. |
| 2. | Current English teachers interested in the overseas short-term study program for English teachers. |
| (4) | Format: Elementary and junior high school English teachers who participated in the 112 (2023) overseas short-term study program will share their experiences (including study program content, life and cultural learning, personal growth, and reflections) and how they applied their learning in classroom teaching after returning to Taiwan. |
| (5) | Registration Information: |
| 1. | Registration Method: Online registration only (Registration URL: https://forms.gle/UProqmBNYsWKWgXUA). |
| 2. | Registration Period: From now until December 20, 112 (Wednesday), 5:00 PM. |
| III. | Please encourage your school's English teachers to actively register and participate. Additionally, please grant participating teachers official leave (or business leave). Teachers will be granted compensatory leave based on the actual hours they attend the experience sharing session (class responsibilities are to be managed by the individual). If a teacher has classes on the day of the sharing session, please assist in arranging for a substitute and relevant duty coverage. The expenses incurred will be covered by the school's allocated budget under the personnel expenses of the 113 (2024) fiscal year for the local education development fund managed by this bureau. If there are insufficient funds, please apply for subsidies along with the bureau's personnel cost survey. For private schools, please handle this matter according to your responsibilities. |
