Implementation Plan for the Ministry of Education's Outstanding Achievement Award for Outdoor Education

| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Guo Zi Di 1120157408, dated November 14, 112 (2023). |
| 2. | The Ministry of Education is organizing the aforementioned selection to encourage local governments, senior high schools and below, non-school based experimental education institutions, educators, and organizations to promote outdoor education. |
| 3. | Key information regarding the plan is as follows: |
| (1) | Award recipients: |
| 1. | School Excellence Award: Senior high schools and below, and non-school based experimental education institutions (hereinafter collectively referred to as "schools") that have made outstanding achievements in promoting outdoor education. This award is divided into elementary school group, junior high school group, and senior high school group. |
| 2. | Individual Contribution Award: Principals, teachers, staff, teaching support personnel of all levels of schools, and teaching personnel and staff of non-school based experimental education institutions who have made outstanding long-term contributions to the promotion of outdoor education. |
| (2) | Application method and timeline: Please mail your application materials for the School Excellence Award or Individual Contribution Award via registered mail to our bureau (Elementary Education Section) for compilation by Wednesday, January 31, 113 (2024). |
| (3) | The selection process is divided into preliminary and final rounds. The selection committee will flexibly adjust the number of awardees based on the number and quality of nominations each year. The awards are as follows: |
| 1. | School Excellence Award: 15 to 20 awards for the elementary school group, 5 to 10 special awards for the junior high school group, and 3 to 5 awards for the senior high school group. Each awardee will receive a trophy and an award of NT$100,000. |
| 2. | Individual Contribution Award: 5 awards, each recipient will receive a trophy. |
