| 1. | In accordance with the Taipei City Archives' official letter dated November 23, 2023, reference number北市獻編字第1123004021. |
| 2. | The Archives is organizing a creative genealogy design competition. Teachers from elementary and junior high schools in Hsinchu and areas north of Hsinchu are welcome to guide students in tracing their roots and creating creative genealogies to participate in this competition during the current academic year and winter break. |
| 3. | The competition details are as follows: |
| (1) | Schedule: |
| 1. | Call for entries: From February 19, 2024, to March 1, 2024. |
| 2. | Judging: Mid-March 2024. |
| 3. | Exhibition and awards ceremony for winning works: Scheduled from April 19, 2024, to June 9, 2024. |
| (2) | Work format: |
| 1. | Flat works: All entries must be designed in portrait orientation. |
| (1) | Use a full sheet (78.7cm x 109.2cm) of poster paper. Please leave a 2cm margin at the top and bottom for framing by the Archives for award-winning pieces. |
| (2) | Please attach the "Creative Concept Label" to the "work page" or the "bottom right corner of the back." It is recommended to use a computer printout for easy reading by the judges. |
| (3) | To facilitate hanging and display, flat design works should not be overly three-dimensional. Please ensure all attached elements are secure to prevent objects from falling due to gravity. |
| 2. | Three-dimensional works (including book/folder works): |
| (1) | Designs should primarily be within the full sheet (78.7cm x 109.2cm) dimensions, with a maximum height of 100cm. Book or folder-type works should adhere to A4 (21.6cm x 30.2cm) to A3 (43.2cm x 30.2cm) specifications. |
| (2) | Please attach the "Creative Concept Label" to an appropriate location on the work. It is recommended to use a computer printout for easy reading by the judges. |
