| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration") dated November 22, 112 (2023), Ref: Tai Jiao Guo Shu Yuan Zi Di 1120164459A. |
| 2. | To enhance students' interest and motivation in learning New Immigrant languages elective courses and to promote cross-school exchange between teachers and students, the Administration is organizing the "National New Immigrant Language Competition [Speak the Vitality of the New Generation] Storytelling Competition and Exhibition" in the 112 academic year. Schools are encouraged to have students who are taking New Immigrant languages elective courses (including in-person and remote courses) register and participate. |
| 3. | The competition rules are as follows: |

| (2) | Eligibility: Junior and elementary schools in this city, students who are taking New Immigrant languages courses in the 112 academic year, including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Burmese, Khmer (Cambodian), Malay, and Filipino. |
| (3) | Competition Groups: Divided into three groups based on educational stage: Junior High School Group, Elementary School Grades 1-3 Group, and Elementary School Grades 4-6 Group. |
| (4) | Group Limit: Each school can register a maximum of 3 groups. Each participant can only register for 1 group. Teams will be selected through the city's preliminary competition to represent the city in the national competition. |
| (5) | Competition Format: Divided into three stages: City Preliminary Competition, National Preliminary Competition, and National Finals. The city selection and national preliminary competition will be judged by video submission, while the national finals will be held in person. |
| 1. | City Preliminary Competition |
| (1) | Teams wishing to participate must complete registration at https://reurl.cc/5O02YR by 5:00 PM on January 15, 113 (Monday), and upload a 3-minute video to https://forms.gle/dBq4o4pPuvd1HQmZ9 (Google Drive). |
| (2) | The Bureau will establish a review committee to select 56 groups to participate in the national preliminary competition and city finals based on the national preliminary competition scoring criteria, and provide improvement suggestions. |
| (3) | The list of participants selected for the city preliminary competition will be announced on January 17, 113 (Wednesday). In addition to representing the city in the national preliminary competition, this list will also serve as the finalist list for the storytelling competition in the "113 Annual New Immigrant Language Storytelling and Song Competition Implementation Plan" for this city. Scoring and competition regulations for the city finals will be announced separately. |
| 2. | National Preliminary Competition |
| (1) | Announcement of National Preliminary Competition Participants: The organizer will announce the list of participants and their entry numbers for the preliminary competition on the official event website by 12:00 PM on January 26, 113 (Friday), and will also notify participants via email. |
| (2) | Video Submission Guidelines: After completing the video recording, please upload it to the YouTube platform. Set the video to "Public" or "Unlisted." From 4:00 PM on January 26, 113 (Friday) to 4:00 PM on February 23, 113 (Friday), submit the video through the "Preliminary Competition Video Submission Area" on the official event website. Late submissions will be considered as forfeiting the competition. |
| (3) | Video Recording Guidelines: Ensure that the participants' faces are clear and the audio is distinct in the video. No editing or post-production is allowed for the video footage or audio. |
| 3. | National Finals |
| (1) | Date of Finals: Saturday, May 4, 113 (2024). |
| (2) | Location of Finals: To be held in Taipei City. The venue for the finals will be announced on the official event website by 12:00 PM on March 15, 113 (Friday) at the latest. |
| (3) | Finalist List: The list of finalists will be announced on the official event website by 12:00 PM on March 15, 113 (Friday), and the school contact persons and team leaders will be notified via email. A "Finals Confirmation Form" will be sent at that time. All finalist groups must complete the form by 4:00 PM on April 17, 113 (Wednesday) to facilitate the arrangements for the finals. |
| (4) | Finals Schedule: The order of competition languages and the finals schedule will be determined by computer lottery. The schedule will be announced by 12:00 PM on April 18, 113 (Thursday) at the latest. |
