| 2. | The ICDF was established in 1996 under the "Organic Act of the International Cooperation and Development Fund." It is a professional institution that assists the government in carrying out international development aid work, and its supervising authority is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. |
| 3. | International development cooperation is a crucial way for Taiwan to participate in the international community and fulfill its responsibilities as a global citizen. Taiwan's ability to break through diplomatic challenges and adversities is achieved through the collaborative efforts of the government and the private sector, thereby expanding Taiwan's international space. International development cooperation work serves as a prime example of this. |
