| II. | The DIYGreen Circular Urban Farm is developed by Professor Kao Cheng-Chung's research group at the Institute of Environmental Engineering, NYCU. It is the world's first DIY circular farm with recycled bottles as its base. It can create green spaces on concrete surfaces for growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers, suitable for DIY by all ages, from children to the elderly. It can be DIY-built on any flat concrete surface (including balconies, terraces, ground, or rooftops) to create a farm for growing safe, high-quality vegetables, fruits, and flowers. It can alleviate Taiwan's three major environmental issues, including reducing the urban heat island effect, reusing recycled bottles, and processing kitchen waste. It offers numerous environmental and food safety benefits, possessing all the benefits of a traditional green roof but without the drawbacks of traditional green roofs in Taiwan, along with many environmental and food safety benefits and features. |
| III. | On March 5, 2024, two courses were launched: the DIYGreen Single Pot Experience Class and the DIYGreen Pot Basic Class. |
