| Subject: | Regarding the Ministry of Education's selection process for the "113 National Defense Education Outstanding Contribution Award - School Education Category," please submit the relevant information directly to the Ministry of Education by April 26, 113 (postmark as proof), without the need for a formal cover letter. | I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao (6) Zi No. 1132801311 dated March 20, 113, and the Ministry of National Defense's "Key Points for the Selection and Commendation of the National Defense Education Outstanding Contribution Award." |
| II. | The details of this selection process are as follows: |
| (1) | Awards, Quotas, and Eligibility: |
| 1. | Group Award (2 recipients): Educational institutions at all levels. |
| 2. | Individual Award (12 recipients): Faculty and staff of educational institutions at all levels, national defense teachers, and military training instructors. |
| (2) | Period for Recommended Specific Achievements: January 1, 112, to December 31, 112. |
| (3) | Application Submission Materials: |
| 1. | One copy of the recommendation form. |
| 2. | Five sets of specific achievements and supporting materials: |
| (1) | Please prepare using a computer. |
| (2) | Please include a cover page (indicating the unit and name) and compile into a booklet (for electronic files, pages containing audio, video, or other formats should be captured as image files or scanned into image files). |
| (3) | Each group or individual is limited to one booklet (the specific achievements and supporting materials should not exceed 200 pages in total). |
| 3. | Electronic files (recommendation form, specific achievements, and supporting materials): |
| (1) | Please provide in Word or OTD format. |
| (2) | Please send to the contact person's email address (iceboynk@mail.moe.gov.tw). If the file is too large, it can be burned onto a CD and submitted along with the materials. |
| (3) | Failure to provide electronic files or files not prepared in the aforementioned formats, resulting in an inability to compile the information, will be considered as lacking supporting materials. |
| (4) | The Ministry of Education's selection committee will review the submitted written materials and recommend outstanding candidates to the Ministry of National Defense. |
| (5) | Please refer to the "Key Points for the Selection and Commendation of the National Defense Education Outstanding Contribution Award" for all relevant regulations. |
| III. | Please submit the application materials directly to the Ministry of Education (5th Floor, No. 172, Section 1, Zhongxiao East Road, Taipei City 100024, Attn: Specialist Cheng Yung-Ta) by April 26, 113 (postmark as proof), without the need for a formal cover letter. |
| IV. | Electronic files for all documents related to this matter (Word and OTD formats) can be downloaded from the website of the Department of Student Affairs and Special Education, Ministry of Education (Path: Homepage - Key Business Areas - National Defense Education). |
| V. | Attached are one copy each of the "Key Points for the Selection and Commendation of the National Defense Education Outstanding Contribution Award," the "Recommendation Form," and the "Specific Achievements Form." |
