| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1130043235 dated April 24, 113. |
| II. | To provide guidance for pet owners or consumers in purchasing and using suitable pet supplies, the Ministry of Agriculture has issued the aforementioned guidelines, with the key points summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Basic Understanding: Provides basic habits of dogs and cats and classifications of necessary supplies for raising them, enabling owners to have a basic understanding of the purpose of the supplies. |
| (2) | Selection Principles and Guidelines: Offers suggestions for owners on selecting and using supplies for raising pets, meeting the physiological and psychological needs of pets. Additionally, it provides relevant information on precautions for each category of supplies to enhance pet welfare. |
| III. | These guidelines have been published on the Animal Protection Information Network of the Ministry of Agriculture (Homepage/I Want to Know Zone/Companion Animals, URL: https://animal.moa.gov.tw/) for your school's reference, to meet the physiological and psychological needs of pets while ensuring consumer safety for owners. |
