Selection of new members for the Central Curriculum and Instructional Guidance Consulting Teacher Team (hereinafter referred to as the Central Team)

Subject: Regarding the selection of new members for the 113th academic year's Central Curriculum and Teaching Guidance Consulting Teacher Team (hereinafter referred to as the Central Team) organized by the Ministry of Education's National Academy for Educational Research (hereinafter referred to as the National Academy), please assist your school in announcing this information. Thank you for your attention.
Details:  
1. Based on the National Academy's letter dated May 15, 113, Ref: Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi Di 1135501543.
2. The relevant information for this selection is as follows:
(1) Selection Qualifications: Teachers must be currently employed, qualified teachers in elementary or junior high schools, with at least five years of teaching experience as a qualified teacher and at least three years of experience as a part-time consultant for a municipal/county/city guidance team, or at least two years of experience as a full-time consultant for a municipal/county/city guidance team. Teachers with special qualifications (e.g., power teachers) or conditions may have their years of service in municipal/county/city guidance teams considered for reduction.
(2) Units eligible to recommend Central Team teachers to the National Academy:
1. Municipal/County/City Government Education Bureaus (Departments).
2. National Academy's guidance groups for various subjects/curricula/issues.
3. Current Central Team teachers.
(3) Selection Criteria:
1. Professional competence to serve as a Central Team teacher (understanding and interpretation of educational policies, problem awareness and diagnostic skills, teaching supervision and evaluation skills, teaching innovation and research skills, organizational management and leadership skills, etc.).
2. Specialized subject area competence (subject knowledge, familiarity with curriculum design and materials, teaching methods, etc.).
3. Personal qualities (enthusiasm for service, willingness to engage with people, good communication skills, reflective, rational thinking, and teamwork abilities, etc.).
(4) Recommendation Method:
1. Recommendation Period: From now until May 20, 113 (Monday). All applications must be submitted online.
2. The National Academy will conduct an initial review to determine if the recommended personnel meet the basic qualifications. The results and subsequent selection matters will be announced on the "Ministry of Education National and Preschool Education Curriculum and Teaching Resources Integration Platform" (CIRN) before May 24, 113 (Friday).
(5) Important Schedule for Selection Process:
1. Selection Date: May 30, 113 (Thursday).
2. Announcement Date for Selected Candidates: The list of selected and reserve candidates will be announced on CIRN before June 14, 113 (Friday), and the official list of selected candidates will be notified thereafter.
(6) To avoid teachers' participation in Central Team affairs affecting school duties, please communicate with your service school and obtain the principal's consent, and ensure that you are exempt from homeroom teacher duties for the academic year before applying.
(7) The National Academy will appoint Central Team teachers based on the selection results and issue appointment letters. The appointment period is generally one academic year. The National Academy may extend the appointment based on the performance of each Central Team teacher, with each extension being for one academic year. Furthermore, for excellent performance by Central Team teachers during their service, their respective school principals will also receive commendations along with the teachers.
(8) The initial team meeting for the 113th academic year will be held from August 5, 113 (Monday) to August 9, 113 (Friday) at the Sanxia Campus of the National Academy for Educational Research. New Central Team members must attend the entire session; those who do not attend the entire session will not be appointed.
3. The operation of the Central Curriculum and Teaching Guidance Consulting Teacher Team, as well as the rights, obligations, and evaluations of Central Team teachers, shall be in accordance with the "Key Points for the Establishment and Operation of the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Central Curriculum and Teaching Guidance Consulting Teacher Team."
