Description:  
I. The Pingbei Little Tsing Hua Indigenous Education Experimental Class originated from the Typhoon Morakot disaster. Initiated by National Tsing Hua University in collaboration with our school, it provides scholarships, accommodation, and a learning environment to cultivate outstanding indigenous individuals with strong natural ecology knowledge and balanced physical and mental development.
II. Eligibility:
(1) Must possess indigenous identity and be a graduating student from a junior high school in any county or city (including current and past graduates, those with equivalent qualifications, and students from non-school-based experimental education programs).
(2) Achieve a "Basic" (Level B) or higher proficiency level in the Mandarin Chinese subject of the Junior High School Comprehensive Assessment Program.
III. Number of Admissions:
(1) A total of 13 regular admissions are planned, open to both male and female students, with an unspecified number of reserve admissions.
(2) Vacancies from the previous entrance examination (including those who were admitted and reported but later gave up their admission qualifications) may be included in the current admissions quota. Therefore, the actual number of admissions will be announced on our school's website after 10:00 AM on June 19, 2024 (Wednesday).
IV. Application Method:
(1) Application Method: Eligible students, with parental consent and according to their wishes, should submit the required application documents to the school for individual application. No application fee is required.
(2) Application Deadline: Before 5:00 PM on June 28, 2023 (Wednesday). For mailed applications, the postmark date will be the reference.

V. Other:
(1) Selection Method: If the number of applicants exceeds the number of admissions, selection will be based on the criteria specified in the admission guidelines, and the most qualified candidates will be admitted (please refer to page 3 of the admission guidelines and Attachment V).
(2) Ethnic Group Guarantee
1. Combined with the previous admissions (first entrance examination), at least 2 admission slots will be guaranteed for each of the 16 ethnic groups recognized by the Council of Indigenous Peoples, Executive Yuan.
2. Ethnic group identification will be based on the ethnic group registered in the household registration or household transcript.
3. However, if the 3rd item in the selection criteria (see Attachment V) scores less than 5 points, the guarantee qualification may be revoked upon review and confirmation by the admissions committee.
