Description:
I. In accordance with the letter from the Bureau of Women and Children Development of this Government, dated May 30, 113, No. 1130018045.
II. Since 111, this Government has actively promoted menstrual equity and created a menstruation-friendly environment, enabling people of different genders to understand menstruation and pay attention to women's physiological hygiene issues, thereby eliminating negative impressions and gender stereotypes associated with menstruation due to socio-cultural factors.
III. The aforementioned activities will commence with a series of events starting from World Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, 113. Through lectures on Traditional Chinese Medicine for menstrual regulation and a "Menstruation Playground" event, we aim to raise awareness and understanding of menstrual issues, fostering a gender-friendly and livable city. We kindly request your school to assist in informing parents and students to actively register and participate.
(1) Lecture on Traditional Chinese Medicine for Menstrual Regulation: On June 20 (Thursday) at 2:00 PM at the Pingzhen District Women and Children Activity Center, Dr. Liu Xinyi, Vice President of Renxin Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic in Neili, will discuss menstrual care for women of different ages from a TCM perspective. Using easy-to-understand illustrated cards, she will share common discomforts experienced by women before, during, and after their menstrual cycle, along with corresponding TCM health preservation methods.
(2) Menstruation Playground: A total of 5 sessions will be held from June 22 to July 9. Ms. Zhou Yachun, Secretary-General of the "Alliance for Not Teaching Children" (Bu Xiao Meng), will discuss the physical and mental care issues for adolescent girls. The event will address menstrual issues in a fun and educational way, using teaching aids, videos, and various menstrual products to guide children through adolescent changes. A DIY menstrual bracelet beading activity will also be included. Sessions will be held at both the North and South District Women's Centers. In addition to parent-child specific sessions, individual sessions are also open. We welcome enthusiastic participation.
IV. Attached are the activity brochure, promotional flyer for the TCM Menstrual Regulation Lecture, and promotional flyer for the Menstruation Playground, each with one copy. Alternatively, you may directly download them from the homepage of this Bureau's website (http://www.tyc.edu.tw/) / Convenient Services / File Downloads / Official File Downloads / Category: Sports and Health Section.
