| 1. | In accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 6 of our organization's Organic Law, our organization is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of government agencies in promoting human rights education, popularizing human rights concepts, and advancing human rights initiatives. |
| 2. | To enhance human rights education and exchange, and to encourage participation from all sectors of society in human rights-related activities, the theme for this year's Human Rights Poster Design Competition is "Equality and Non-Discrimination." We are soliciting entries from the international design community. Through participants' collection of human rights issues and the poster creation process, they will gradually come to understand human rights concepts and values, and present their design outcomes. This will elevate public awareness of human rights issues and simultaneously promote Taiwan's image as a nation founded on human rights. |
| 3. | The submission period for this competition is from now until September 6, 2024. Enclosed are the Chinese and English versions of the competition guidelines and the event poster. To expand the public benefit of human rights education, please assist in publicizing this event by posting it on your organization's official website or notice board. |
