| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, dated July 1, 113 (2024), Ref. No. 1130073654. |
| II. | The foundation has long promoted "Food and Agriculture Education," bringing food education into children's family lives and fostering their ability to "cook with their own hands and eat healthily." In collaboration with the Food Industry Research and Development Institute, a national cooking competition is being organized. In 113 (2024), the competition will focus on pasta dishes, rice dishes, and creative tea snacks, integrating food safety (clean label), kitchen safety, and zero food waste. It will also cover understanding seasonal ingredients, dietary culture, and food presentation, aiming to inspire children's creativity and execution, create aesthetic experiences in food life, and cultivate well-rounded character and international perspectives. |
| III. | The details of the aforementioned event are as follows: |
| (I) | Competition Theme: Hey! Little Chef is Open for Business. |
| (II) | Participants: Children and teenagers aged 8 to 15 from elementary and junior high schools across Taiwan who enjoy cooking and creating dishes. Each team consists of 2 head chefs. |
| (III) | Competition Categories: |
| 1. | Creative Pasta Competition: Handmade Pasta + Creative Tea Snacks. |
| 2. | Creative Rice Competition: Handmade Rice Balls + Creative Tea Snacks. |
| (IV) | Timeline: The deadline for preliminary written submissions is from now until October 31, 113 (2024), Thursday, 5:00 PM. The finals and awards ceremony will be held on December 14, 113 (2024), Saturday, at the Food Industry Research and Development Institute for practical sessions. |
| (V) | Competition Prizes: Champions, runners-up, third place, and honorable mentions will receive scholarships ranging from NT$1,500 to NT$6,000, medals, certificates, and travel and accommodation subsidies. |
