| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Social Affairs Bureau of our government, dated July 30, 113 (2024), Social Affairs Assistance Letter No. 1130066849, and the letter from the Disaster Relief Foundation, dated July 26, 113 (2024), Disaster Relief Foundation Letter No. 0001130239. |
| 2. | Key points for the scholarship application mentioned above are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: To assist children from low-income, vulnerable families affected by major natural disasters in overcoming educational difficulties. This applies to students enrolled in universities, colleges, senior high schools (first three years of five-year programs), junior high schools, and elementary schools. Students who are not receiving public funding or educational subsidies for children of military, government, or public institution personnel are eligible. The affected families should have their children's schools compile the relevant documents and submit them to the foundation for application (no separate cover letter required). |
| (2) | Application Period: First (Fall) Semester: September 10th to October 10th annually. Second (Spring) Semester: February 10th to March 10th annually. |
