| II. | The aforementioned event is co-organized by the National Public Information Library and the "Taiwan Society for Animal and Human Studies." From August 113 to June 114, under the theme of "Eating Animals," experts and educators from relevant fields will be invited to participate, discuss, and brainstorm with readers. This aims to anticipate and prepare for future life issues that individuals, families, and the public may encounter. The series of lectures will cover topics such as SDGs, food and agriculture, and popular science. The lectures will be conducted in person and simultaneously live-streamed online, accompanied by online and in-person book fairs, with 1-3 books introduced at each session. |
| III. | There are 2 sessions in September, scheduled for Sunday, September 22, 113, at the First Conference Room on the 2nd Floor of the National Public Information Library Main Building (No. 100, Wuchuan South Road, South District, Taichung City). Online registration is now open, and admission is free. The lecture times and topics are as follows: |
| (1) | 10:30-11:30: Conservation of Taiwanese native chickens and understory farming (Popular Science), presented by President Chen Chih-feng from National Chung Hsing University. |
| (2) | 14:00-15:00: Farm animal and animal protection issues teaching sharing (Education), presented by Associate Professor Wang Shun-mei from National Taiwan Normal University. |
| IV. | Public and civil servants who attend the entire in-person session will receive 1 hour of training credit per session.
