Subject: Forwarding the information regarding the "2024 Multimedia Production Camp" organized by the Criminal Investigation Bureau, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior. Please acknowledge receipt.
Details:
1. In accordance with the official letter from the Criminal Investigation Bureau, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior, dated September 3, 2024, with reference number CIB-PREV-1136106717.
2. This camp is organized by the Criminal Investigation Bureau, National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior, in response to the administrative preliminary guidance mechanism for at-risk youth involved with drugs, which has been in effect since July 2023. The aim is to assist local youth guidance committees in building their capacity to guide these young individuals to re-discover themselves, explore the essence of life, and reduce the risks and harms associated with drug use.
3. The camp will be held in four sessions, with 25 participants per session. Dates and locations are as follows:
(1) Yunlin Session: September 9-10, 2024; GIANT PC Classroom (No. 191, Minsheng Road, Douliu City, Yunlin County).
(2) Taoyuan Session: September 30 - October 1, 2024; GIANT PC Classroom (2nd Floor, No. 6, Minquan Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City).
(3) Taipei Session: October 30-31, 2024; GIANT PC Classroom (3F, No. 30, Gongyuan Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City).

(4) Hualien Session: November 14-15, 2024; GIANT PC Classroom (1st Floor, No. 180, Zhongshan Road, Hualien City, Hualien County).
4. Activity methods and recruitment:
(1) Participants are youth aged 12-18.
(2) Activity methods and recruitment numbers:
1. In-person classes: The first 25 registrants will be accepted based on the order of submission, with 3 alternates. The curriculum includes practical live streaming techniques, photography and videography, multimedia editing, and social media operation and interaction. Professional instructors will also provide information on anti-drug and anti-fraud measures, conduct Q&A sessions, and offer individual guidance.
2. Online synchronous participation: The activity poster will provide the link, account, and password for the online meeting software, allowing students to join the session remotely. Schools are encouraged to arrange for students to participate in the online classes from their computer labs during the activity times.
