| II. | To support the promotion of the Environmental Education Act and enhance the understanding of independent media and environmental issues among junior high, high school, and university students, the Association has been organizing environmental news editing and reporting camps since 2006. The aim is to cultivate children's ability to discern information and think independently by analyzing major environmental issues and having professional lecturers impart editing and reporting skills. Participants will learn photography, interviewing, and editing techniques, and by reporting on environmental issues, national environmental protection awareness will be raised. |
| III. | The Association plans to organize the 2024 "The Distance Between Us and Environmental News" lecture series. Those interested in media-related majors or who wish to understand environmental issues are welcome to register for the November 9th Reporting Camp | Media Literacy x Environmental News x Photography Practice, to learn media literacy, environmental news, and practical photography skills. If you want to hear firsthand accounts from the editing and reporting team who flew to the United Arab Emirates a month and a half before COP28 in 2023, sharing their on-site reporting experience in the UAE, exploring the desert city, and directly witnessing how this extremely water-scarce, high-temperature country faces climate change challenges beyond oil, don't miss the November 16th "Desert City, Beyond Oil: Direct Hit on the UAE's New Climate Era" special sharing session. |
