Forwarding one copy of the press release from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Centers for Disease Control, regarding the temporary suspension of the 0.5mL dose of Fluad Quadrivalent influenza vaccine (Batch No.: FSZA2408).

| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government Department of Health, No. 1130097876, dated October 16, 113. |
| II. | On October 12, 113, the CDC received notification from the Keelung City Government Department of Health that the Qidu District Health Station in that city reported that on the same day, prior to administering influenza vaccinations, they proactively discovered that one dose of the vaccine with the aforementioned batch number had a discolored appearance upon visual inspection. The discolored vaccine was immediately preserved, reported according to procedure, and not administered. |
| III. | Upon inspection of vaccines from the same batch number (FSZA2408) within the health stations under its jurisdiction, the Department of Health found no other vaccines with similar issues. However, to ensure the safety of public vaccinations, the department has informed contracted medical institutions within its jurisdiction to temporarily suspend the use of vaccines from this batch number, inventory and check the quantity of existing vaccines from the same batch number for any abnormalities, and confirm that the location and quantity of inventory are consistent with NIIS. If any abnormalities are found during the inventory check, please report them immediately. |
| IV. | The aforementioned batch of vaccines has been sealed on-site as instructed by the CDC. Other batches of Adimmune vaccines have not shown any abnormalities, nor have any adverse reaction events been reported. They are safe and can provide good protection. Please strengthen public awareness campaigns in schools regarding the importance and safety of influenza vaccination to enhance herd immunity in the campus. |
| V. | Furthermore, the CDC has invited experts, the Food and Drug Administration, the Keelung City Government Department of Health, and Adimmune Corporation to a meeting to discuss subsequent response measures. The resolutions of the meeting will be notified separately. |
