Subject: We are pleased to send you the prospectus for the "2025 Taiwan-US Youth Scientist AI & STEAM Summer Camp" co-organized by our association and the San Francisco School of the Arts, along with information on the online briefing session. We kindly request you to post this announcement and encourage your students to apply.
Description:
1. In response to the Executive Yuan's initiative to promote the "National Talent Competitiveness Leap Program" and cultivate professionals in STEAM and AI, our association has organized this summer camp. It is designed for students passionate about science and engineering, focusing on enhancing their English oral expression skills to broaden their international perspective, improve teamwork and execution abilities, and foster confidence and proactivity.
2. The summer camp will be held from Sunday, July 13, to Saturday, July 26, 2025. Our association will lead a delegation to San Francisco, USA, for international exchange. Participants will engage in courses focused on ESL, AI programming, and STEAM science. The itinerary also includes visits to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco, Stanford University, the University of San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and famous San Francisco landmarks. Students will also interact with students from the San Francisco School of the Arts. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate from the San Francisco School of the Arts.
3. The San Francisco School of the Arts is an elite institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and the National Association of Independent Schools. The school maintains rigorous academic standards and has been consistently recognized as an AP Honor Roll school (a distinction achieved by only 6% of high schools in the U.S. and Canada). 95% of its students are admitted to the top 100 universities in the United States and perform exceptionally well, with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher.
4. The summer camp features a distinguished faculty, including experts with extensive work and teaching experience at global tech giants like Apple and Oracle, seasoned ESL instructors, and Harvard University admissions officers. It is suitable for students in grades 7 through 9. The activity prospectus is attached. We kindly request you to post this announcement and encourage eligible students from your school to apply.
