Academic Year 113 "Teacher Outdoor Safety Knowledge Workshop" EMT-1 Basic Life Support Technician Certification Training Course

Description:  
I. In accordance with the "National Science and Technology Council's 113 academic year subsidy for the implementation of outdoor education and marine education project 1-3 teacher professional development".
II. Objectives: 1. To enhance teachers' first aid and safety skills to ensure students' life safety. 2. To strengthen the emergency response mechanism for outdoor course teachers and improve correct procedures for handling accidents. 3. To enhance the ability to prevent and provide emergency care for injuries, avoid secondary damage, and increase the success rate of first aid.
III. The information for the aforementioned workshop is as follows:
(1) Date: January 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 114 (a total of 6 days, three weekends). Full participation for all six days is required for initial training; for refresher training, attendance for the first three days is required to obtain certification.
(2) Time: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (January 4, 5, 18, 19); 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (January 11, 12)
(3) Location: Dongxing Junior High School (No. 25, Guangzhou Road, Zhongli District)
(4) Participants: 30 teachers from this city who promote outdoor and marine education (10-15 for initial training, 15-20 for refresher training).
(5) In response to the amendment of the "Regulations for the Management of Emergency Medical Technicians" by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, starting from 114, the training hours have increased from 40 to 56 hours. Therefore, participating teachers will be required to partially bear the training costs (NT$2,000 for initial training, NT$1,500 for refresher training). The remaining costs will be covered by the center's budget. Registration is confirmed upon successful bank transfer. Lunch will be provided.

Registered teachers should pay attention to the email notification for admission. If you successfully register but cannot attend, you must find a substitute yourself; refunds are not possible.
(7) This program aims to assist interested teachers in obtaining personal professional certifications. Upon completion, participants will be included in the center's professional talent pool and will be obligated to assist with the center's activities in the future.
