| I. | To support residents in remote areas of Africa, the "Old Shoes for Saving Lives" International Christian Care Association annually collects and distributes supplies to help improve local living conditions. At the end of this year, the Bethlehem warehouse has received a large volume of donated supplies from all over Taiwan. The warehouse is now full, with an overflow of materials, and urgently needs volunteers to help sort these supplies so they can be smoothly distributed to those in need. |
| II. | To ensure that the supplies can be successfully delivered to families in need, we are recruiting volunteers to assist with the following tasks: |
| (1) | Unpacking boxes: Unpack and sort the donated packages from people all over Taiwan. |
| (2) | Material screening and classification: Inspect the condition of each item, check the quality of each supply, and classify them to ensure they can be used to their fullest potential. |
| (3) | Shoe sorting and pair matching: Sort shoes so that children can have a pair of shoes to wear, go to school happily, and walk further. |
| (4) | Assisting with stacking and bagging: Pack and stack the supplies to ensure they can be smoothly delivered to families in need. |
| III. | Event Schedule and Registration: |
| (1) | Event Dates: December 20, 2024 (Friday) to February 28, 2025 (Friday). Three time slots are available daily (10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00, 15:00-17:00). |
| (2) | Registration: Interested volunteers can register through our official website: https://www.step30.org/join/arrange. |
| IV. | Quota: Due to limited service space, each time slot is limited to 30 people. If the time slot on the website is full, please contact Ms. Hung. We can arrange alternative service times or locations to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate. Service Hour Certificates: Volunteers will receive a certificate of service and volunteer hours as a record of their experience. |
| V. | As the year draws to a close, "Old Shoes for Saving Lives" sincerely invites your organization's teachers, students, employees, and volunteers to join hands and bring warmth to families in need.
