| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated December 30, 2024, Ref. No. Tai-Shih (1) No. 1130134383. |
| 2. | To encourage youth participation in cultural activities and promote the development of the cultural and creative industries, the Ministry of Culture has been issuing cultural vouchers to young people since 2023. These vouchers can be used for cultural consumption such as watching Taiwanese films, attending performances, buying books, visiting museums, and participating in DIY workshops. In 2025, individuals aged 16-22 will receive 1,200 cultural coins (1 coin is equivalent to NT$1), and a pilot program for 13-15 year olds will provide 600 cultural coins each. |
| 3. | The methods for claiming and using the cultural vouchers are as follows: |
| (1) | Who can claim: |
| 1. | Youth aged 13-15: Those born between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2022, who are citizens of the Republic of China or eligible foreign nationals, can receive 600 cultural coins. |
| 2. | Youth aged 16-22: Those born between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2019, who are citizens of the Republic of China or eligible foreign nationals, can receive 1,200 cultural coins. |
| (2) | How to claim: Download the "Cultural Coin" APP on your mobile phone. After completing registration and identity verification, you can claim and use the coins starting from January 1, 2025 (Wednesday). You can also contact the cultural voucher customer service for assistance (Phone: 0809-081806, Email: cp.service@tradevan.com.tw). |
| (3) | How to use: You can use the vouchers for consumption at designated cultural and creative points across the country from January 1, 2025 (Wednesday) to December 31, 2025 (Tuesday). Each use is in units of 1 coin. |
| (4) | Where to use: Vouchers can be used for visiting museums, attending concerts, watching performances, buying books at physical bookstores, watching Taiwanese films, attending concerts by Taiwanese artists, purchasing from record stores, visiting cultural and creative parks or markets, and participating in DIY workshops or cultural experience tours. There are over 18,000 designated cultural and creative consumption points in all 22 cities and counties. |
| (5) | What are the benefits: |
| 1. | Independent bookstore bonus points: Look for independent bookstores with the "This store participates in the independent bookstore bonus point program" sticker. For every 2 coins spent, you get 1 coin back, with a maximum rebate of 50% of your annual cultural voucher amount. |
| 2. | Performing arts 50% off youth seats: Offer "youth seats" in prime viewing areas and "50% off flexible seats" with free seat selection at affordable prices for young people. |
| 3. | Watch Taiwanese films together: If one person in a group uses 350 or more cultural coins for a single ticket purchase to a Taiwanese film, the group will receive an additional 100 coins. There is no limit to the number of times this bonus can be claimed. |
| 4. | Win more cultural coins by spending: Every purchase of 200 or more cultural coins earns you one chance to enter a lucky draw for more cultural coins. |
| 5. | Refer-a-friend bonus: Youth who have already received their cultural vouchers can get 30 bonus coins by inviting 2 friends to successfully claim theirs. After that, each additional friend invited will earn 10 coins, with no upper limit on rewards. |
| 4. | Attached are the official letter from the Ministry of Culture, promotional graphics, a summary guide, and 3 poster designs. Promotional videos and related electronic files can be downloaded from the cloud link: https://reurl.cc/WAR8my. |
| 5. | The Ministry of Culture will subsequently mail printed posters to major universities and high schools. Please assist with posting and promotion.
