| Subject: | The "Taoyuan City 113 Academic Year Marine Science Popularization Picture Book Creation Competition and Promotion Activity" is launching. All elementary and middle school teachers, students, and families in the city are welcome to form teams and register. |
| Description: |
| I. | In accordance with the "Ministry of Education National Curriculum Development and Research Institute's 113 Academic Year Subsidy for Outdoor Education and Marine Education Project - Sub-project 3". |
| II. | This center has commissioned Luzhu Elementary School to organize the aforementioned event. The winning teams will then represent our city in the "2025 3rd Marine Science Popularization Picture Book Creation Selection" competition among all counties and cities nationwide. We welcome teams who have completed the "Marine Education Picture Book Workshop" to continue their registration. |
| III. | The competition details are as follows: |
| (1) | Each artwork creation team shall consist of 1-4 members, with a maximum of 2 supervising teachers. We encourage art classes from elementary and middle schools in our city to participate. |
| (2) | Participants: Elementary and middle school students in our city (divided into elementary school group and middle school group). |
| (3) | Submission Period: From Monday, April 7, 114 to Friday, April 25, 114 (postmark date applies). Please mail to: Luzhu Elementary School, Office of Academic Affairs, No. 850, Section 2, Fúguó Road, Lúzhú District, Taoyuan City 338006. |
| (4) | Please refer to the attached file for artwork specifications, formats, evaluation criteria, and other relevant regulations. |
| IV. | Awards: |
| (1) | First Prize: NT$5,000 (1 award) + 1 Certificate of Award |
| (2) | Second Prize: NT$4,000 (2 awards) + 1 Certificate of Award |
| (3) | Third Prize: NT$2,000 (3 awards) + 1 Certificate of Award |
| (4) | Honorable Mention: NT$800 (5 awards) + 1 Certificate of Award |
| V. | The winning artworks (elementary school group and middle school group) will have the top five entries from each group represent our city in the "National Marine Science Popularization Picture Book Creation Selection." The selection guidelines will be announced by the Taiwan Marine Education Center (expected in April 114).
