Description:
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1140004635A dated January 13, 114 (2025).
II. Taiwan is located on the East Asian flyway, one of the world's eight major migratory bird routes, serving as a crucial stopover for migratory birds between Asia and Australia. Its prime geographical location allows for the observation of over 686 bird species in Taiwan, including 36 endemic species and 52 endemic subspecies. Approximately one-fifteenth of the world's bird species can be observed in Taiwan, making its bird diversity density the highest in Asia. The coastal areas of Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan are particularly dense with winter migratory birds and waterbirds in Taiwan. (For related resource introductions, please refer to the attachment.)
III. Given the importance of environmental and ecological education from a young age, and to promote bird ecology information and green bird-watching tourism in the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan coastal area, allowing more teachers and students to pay attention to related issues and learn about the ecological environment and bird knowledge of this region, seven videos titled 'Let's Go Birdwatching in Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan!' have been produced to introduce common bird species in the area.
