| Subject: | Forwarding the matter of account binding for "Literacy Measurement Test" and "Learning Islands" to the Education Cloud account, please assist your school in notifying teachers and students to complete the binding of their Education Cloud accounts before July 31, 114. Details are as follows, please acknowledge. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. 1140027732 dated March 20, 114. |
| II. | To enable teachers to select appropriate teaching materials and strategies based on students' literacy assessment results, the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned National Kaohsiung Normal University to assist in the "National Elementary and Junior High School Literacy Assessment Project" and to build the "Literacy Treasure Island Learning Platform" (hereinafter referred to as Literacy Treasure Island). Relevant information is summarized as follows: |
| (1) | To allow Literacy Treasure Island users to take tests and complete tasks through a single account, enhance personal data security, and enjoy a more convenient learning experience and digital teaching resources, Literacy Treasure Island will fully adopt the Education Cloud account (hereinafter referred to as Education Cloud). Users will not need to apply for an account on the aforementioned website separately. |
| (2) | From now until July 31, 114, you can proceed to the "Literacy Treasure Island Learning Platform" to bind your account. |
| (3) | Video tutorial for binding Education Cloud account: https://youtu.be/dHwwGz7B4-I. |
| (4) | For those who complete the binding before July 31, 114: |
| 1. | Improved management efficiency: The Literacy Treasure Island platform will automatically synchronize student status data from the Education Cloud. When teachers and students change classes, they will not need to perform grade promotion conversions, eliminating the need for class assignment operations. |
| 2. | Preservation of historical data: For school administrators, teachers, and students who complete the binding, their original "Literacy Measurement Test" and "Learning Islands" records will be preserved, ensuring that users in all roles can smoothly continue their existing data and learning progress. |
| 3. | Simplified login process: If you forget your username or password, you can directly retrieve it through the Education Cloud, eliminating the cumbersome process of changing your email address, thus reducing operational burden. |
| (5) | For those who do not complete the binding before July 31, 114: Their original accounts will be affected, and the literacy measurement test results and Learning Islands learning data for each school will be cleared. |
| III. | Please kindly inform your school to complete the binding of the Education Cloud account before July 31, 114. |
| IV. | Attached is 1 copy of the "Education Cloud Account Binding Operation Instructions." |
