| II. | To implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reduce the risk of African Swine Fever, strengthen the promotion of source reduction and full recycling of kitchen waste, reduce the amount of kitchen waste mixed with general garbage, and enhance the concept of kitchen waste recycling, please cooperate with the aforementioned policy to implement the following matters: |
| (1) | Implementation Method: Promote source reduction of kitchen waste, the concept of zero waste by cherishing food, and the city's "full kitchen waste recycling" policy. No longer distinguish between raw and cooked kitchen waste, but between recyclable and non-recyclable kitchen waste. |
| (2) | Classification Method: |
| 1. | Recyclable kitchen waste: Leafy vegetables, fruits, fruit peels, tea leaves, and other raw or cooked food and their residues. After draining, hand them over to the sanitation team's garbage trucks that collect along the streets or to the designated kitchen waste recycling bins for recycling. |
| 2. | Non-recyclable kitchen waste: Shells of clams and oysters, durian husks, pineapple crowns, corn cobs, sugarcane peels, bamboo shoot shells, and large bones of cattle, sheep, and pigs, as well as other hard, tough, and difficult-to-decompose materials, should be disposed of as general garbage. |
| (3) | Relevant Penalties: If it is found that the waste is not sorted and recycled according to regulations, a fine of NT$1,200 to NT$6,000 will be imposed in accordance with Article 50 of the Waste Disposal Act. |
| III. | We request your school to assist in promoting the "full kitchen waste recycling" policy through official websites, LED scrolling displays, and electronic billboards, as follows: |
| (1) | Scrolling display text: "Net-zero green living, zero waste by cherishing food; full kitchen waste recycling, sustainable love for the Earth." Please assist in promoting this through LED scrolling displays and other means. |
| (2) | 2 copies of electronic promotional flyers. Please assist in promoting them through official websites and electronic billboards. |
| IV. | Additionally, please complete the reporting of promotional results by July 31, 114, via the cloud form (https://forms.gle/Cjb9g9NxzeszcWwR8).
