| Subject: | Reiterating the precautions for schools assisting in the announcement of mainland China's event information and the implementation of reporting on the registration platform, as detailed below. Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Details: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Primary and Secondary Education's letter dated May 13, 2025, Ref. No. 1140045252. |
| 2. | We have recently received feedback that schools assisting in announcing or forwarding event information from mainland China involves the Chinese Communist Party and government's exchange work with Taiwan. Our schools' assistance in promoting such event information is also inappropriate. Schools are required to proactively review and remove any announcements that may involve assisting in this exchange work, to avoid inadvertently supporting mainland China's united front efforts. |
| 3. | The Ministry of Education established the "Registration Platform for Educational Exchange Activities to Mainland China" in 2019 and has repeatedly promoted and notified schools to implement reporting on this platform and related precautions. If schools assist in announcing event information from mainland China, they should carefully review whether it complies with the Act Governing Relations Between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area, relevant regulations, and current policies. They should also register on the "Assisting in Announcing Mainland China's Event Information" page of the aforementioned platform before the announcement date or within 3 days of the announcement date. Schools are urged to implement internal reporting and verification mechanisms. |
| 4. | Attached are the operation manual and checklist for the aforementioned platform, one copy each. |
