The Longtan District Office of Taoyuan City is recruiting election staff for the "114 National Referendum." Details are as follows.

Details:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Election Commission, No. 1140003084, dated June 10, 114.

2. In accordance with the letter from the Central Election Commission, No. 1143150380, dated June 4, 114, the "114 National Referendum" is scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 23, 114.

3. In accordance with Article 24 of the Referendum Act, which applies mutatis mutandis to Articles 58 and 59 of the Civil Servants Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator and at least one-third of the administrators at polling stations must be current civil servants (broadly defined). The chief supervisor must be a current or former civil servant. We kindly request your unit to encourage its civil servants to actively serve as staff at the polling stations in this district.

4. In accordance with the letter from the Central Election Commission (hereinafter referred to as the CEC), No. 1143150394, dated June 9, 114, election staff participating in the election will be granted one day of compensatory leave. The remuneration for polling station staff is as follows: chief administrator NT$3,300, chief supervisor NT$2,750, administrator NT$2,100, supervisor NT$2,000, and reserve staff NT$2,000 (all amounts in New Taiwan Dollars).

5. If colleagues wish to register as a group, please fill out the "Longtan District Polling Station Staff Recommendation Form" (Attachment 2) and send it directly to the email address of the election staff contact person at the Longtan District Office of Taoyuan City (10057921@mail.tycg.gov.tw) without a cover letter, with the contact person as the sender.

6. If colleagues wish to register as individuals, please fill out the "Longtan District Polling Station Staff Registration Form" (Attachment 3) with complete personal information, obtain the signatures of the unit supervisor, human resources supervisor, and the head of the agency/school, and then submit the hard copy in person, by mail, or by fax to the Longtan District Office of Taoyuan City. The office will then select suitable polling stations and positions for assignment.
