| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao Zi (6) No. 1140067053 dated June 24, 114. |
| II. | To promote campus net-zero green living education, the Ministry of the Environment has completed diverse teaching resources and produced the aforementioned handbook. It designs net-zero green living picture books, lesson plans, teaching presentations, and materials based on the six major life aspects of the "Net-Zero Green Living Action Guidelines": food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, and entertainment, and shopping. It also provides links to teaching materials, key teaching points, and suggestions for teaching processes to assist teachers in guiding students to practice net-zero green living in their daily lives. |
| III. | A brief introduction to the features of the Net-Zero Green Living Teaching Resources Toolkit Handbook is as follows: |
| (1) | Find suitable lesson plans by theme: For different aspects of net-zero green living, 21 lesson plans and teaching resources for different levels from K-9 (kindergarten to ninth grade) are compiled. Each lesson plan closely follows the core concepts of net-zero green living and designs different teaching activities to lead students to become agents of change through practicing net-zero green living. |
| (2) | Adjust teaching time based on the on-site situation: The teaching time for each lesson plan varies. Teachers can use flexible class time for teaching, or extract content from the lesson plans and integrate it into teaching across different subject areas as an issue-based approach. |
| (3) | Serve as an assistant for teaching preparation: Each lesson plan is equipped with a teaching introduction, teaching presentation, and related teaching materials, reducing teachers' preparation and material production time. |
| (4) | Use in conjunction with the "2024 Edition Net-Zero Green Living Action Guidelines": The lesson plans and teaching materials included in this handbook are designed to correspond with the Net-Zero Green Living Action Guidelines. It is recommended to read them together with the action guidelines for a more comprehensive understanding of the teaching content. |
| IV. | To facilitate the subsequent promotion of related teaching resources, a feedback questionnaire (https://reurl.cc/mxANaM) is provided. Teachers are requested to assist in providing relevant opinions and suggestions, with the aim of continuously improving the handbook's content through the power of feedback from the teaching field. |
