To inform you that the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare has amended the "Manual for Handling and Sampling of Suspected Food Poisoning Incidents." Please disseminate and utilize widely.

| II. | The Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, by letter dated July 4, 113, No. Tai Jiao Guo Shu Xue Zi Di 1130076800 (received), forwarded the aforementioned handbook issued by the Department for schools to strengthen publicity and utilization. In order to continuously improve the handling process of food poisoning incidents, the Department has specifically revised the content of the aforementioned handbook as follows: |
| (I) | Added common principles for health bureaus to order businesses to suspend operations. |
| (II) | Added Listeria monocytogenes to bacterial causative agents and made minor revisions to related text. |
| (III) | Minor revisions to text (including English translation) and wording to achieve semantic clarity and consistency. |
| III. | The revised handbook is attached. Please disseminate it to on-campus catering businesses, faculty, staff, and students, and encourage them to utilize it. Please continue to implement self-management of food hygiene to protect the rights and interests of faculty, staff, and students regarding catering hygiene and safety. |
