| II. | In response to international plastic reduction goals in recent years, the EPA's Recycling Fund Management Board will propose a new version of the "Milestones for Reducing Single-Use Products" this year. To ensure that various measures meet societal needs and expectations, a "Wishing Well for Reduction Milestones" will be open from July 1st to August 31st to widely gather public suggestions and expectations for single-use product reduction measures. This wishing well will focus on six major categories: plastic bags, disposable tableware, beverage cups, straws, and newly added items, namely retail merchandise and online shopping packaging. The wishing well section is located on the "Promotional Website for Source Reduction of Single-Use Products." The public is welcome to provide suggestions for reduction measures or express their expectations for policies in this section. |
