| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Culture dated June 26, 114 (2025), document number Wen Ban Zi No. 11430178901, forwarded by our government on July 1, 114 (2025), document number Fu Wen Mi Zi No. 1140180586. |
| II. | To encourage original picture book creation and publication in Taiwan, highlight the unique characteristics of Taiwanese original picture books, and promote diverse development, the Ministry of Culture has established a national-level picture book award, the "Golden Picture Book Award." The first Golden Picture Book Award will accept applications from July 1 to September 1, 114 (2025). The scope of submissions includes works co-produced by private and government entities. If you intend to apply, please collaborate with publishing units that have partnered with government agencies or their affiliated institutions/schools, obtain authorization and consent from the relevant government agency or its affiliated institution/school, and then submit your application. |
| III. | We also welcome nominations for individuals who have made significant contributions or achievements to the development of Taiwan's picture book industry for the "Special Contribution Award" of the Golden Picture Book Award. |
| IV. | The Golden Picture Book Award uses online registration. Please visit the Ministry of Culture's "Grant Information Network" (http://grants.moc.gov.tw/) to complete the registration. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact Ms. Lin at (02) 8512-6494. |
