| Subject: | To inform you of the "Implementation Guidelines for the 114th Academic Year National Student Music Competition" from the National Taiwan Arts Education Center, please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the National Taiwan Arts Education Center dated July 9, 114, with reference number 1140001871. |
| II. | The key revisions to the aforementioned competition guidelines are as follows: |
| (1) | Clarify the eligibility for Group A and the responsible unit for determining Group A eligibility. |
| (2) | When calculating the proportion of members in Group A teams results in a decimal, it should be rounded up to the nearest whole number, and calculated based on the official performers. |
| (3) | The number of alternates for chamber music ensembles (including Chinese chamber music) has been increased to 2. |
| (4) | Added viola solo for elementary school Group A and Group B in individual categories. |
| (五) | The time for checking and announcing results on the official website of this competition has been adjusted to after 10:00 AM on the morning following the conclusion of each category's competition. |
| (6) | Added time limits for submitting appeals. |
| (7) | Clarified that during performances, it is prohibited to bring items containing water, flammable liquids, and use open flames. |
| III. | The scheduled dates for the finals of this competition are as follows: |
| (1) | Group categories (North, Central, South) regions: To be held from March 1, 115. |
| (2) | Individual categories: To be held from March 15, 115. |
| (3) | The overall period for the finals of this competition, following past practice, will be from March 1 to March 31 of the current year (including both group and individual categories). The confirmed dates and schedule for the finals of this academic year will be announced on the official website of the National Student Music Competition before January 15, 115. |
| IV. | This competition is relevant to the weighting of the免試入學 (exam-exempt admission) ranking and applications for admission based on competition performance. To protect students' rights to participate, please consider the schedule of the finals of this competition when planning other activities to avoid or minimize conflicts with other events. |
| V. | The implementation guidelines for the aforementioned competition are also announced on the National Student Music Competition website (https://web.arte.gov.tw/music/). |
| VI. | The implementation plan for the 114th academic year student music competition in this city will be announced separately. |
