Announcement Compilation

To inform you about the "2025 ESG Summit" Hackathon competition organized by the Accounting Research and Development Foundation of the Republic of China, we have attached the competition rules. We encourage all faculty and staff to actively register and participate.

For your information, the Accounting Research and Development Foundation of the Republic of China is organizing the "2025 ESG Summit" Hackathon competition. We encourage colleagues from our university to actively register and participate.

Details:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Department of Personnel, Taoyuan City Government, which was forwarded by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, on July 14, 114 (2025), with reference number Zongzongzi No. 1141001380. A copy of the original letter (including attachments) is attached.

2. To stimulate the innovative potential of young people, connect local resources with sustainable development goals, create innovative proposals with long-term social value, and become a starting point for driving future local transformation, the Accounting Research and Development Foundation of the Republic of China is holding an "ESG Hackathon" with the core theme of "Sustainable Innovation x Local Development." Through time-limited brainstorming and teamwork, the event encourages young people aged 20 to 30 who are employed by government agencies to form teams (Note: 2 to 3 members per team) to participate. Key details are summarized as follows:
(1) Competition Categories: Divided into two major categories: "Sustainable Business Model Development" and "Local Development Practice Proposals." Teams in each category will submit proposals based on their chosen theme, presenting concrete and feasible solutions. Registration is limited to 20 teams per category.
(2) Event Venue: Meeting Room 703, 7th Floor, Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 (No. 2, Jingmao 2nd Road, Taipei City).
(3) Event Schedule:
1. Registration Period: From May 31 of this year (114) to 5:00 PM on July 31 of the same year.
2. Competition Kick-off: 10:00 AM on August 25 of this year (Monday) to 10:00 AM on August 27 of the same month (Note: Participating teams will immediately begin a 48-hour challenge, with tasks to be completed within 48 hours. All submitted works must be completed independently within the designated venue during the competition period).
3. Results Presentation and Judging: August 27 of this year (Note: Each team will present their results and showcase their work. A professional judging panel will conduct the evaluation. Each presentation will be 6 minutes, followed by 3 minutes for judges' questions and team member responses).
