| Description: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Association for Animal Welfare "Love Them All" dated July 23, 114 (2025), No. Love Them All No. 1040100019. |
| II. | The Association for Animal Welfare "Love Them All" aims to educate and publicly disclose the plight of animals, evoke human empathy, and encourage people to respect and coexist peacefully with animals that remain safe after advocacy and adoption experiments, thereby reducing the overexploitation of animals and natural resources and improving the situation of animals. The Taiwan Animal Equality Association's scope of concern covers companion animals, performance animals, laboratory animals, wild animals, and economic animals, and is committed to promoting animal equality education based on the principles of equality, diversity, coexistence, interdependence, and mutual subjectivity. |
| III. | This event will last for 2 days and will feature a total of 3 lectures. Participants can attend on a daily basis. The event is co-organized by the Taiwan Animal Equality Association and the Association for Animal Welfare "Love Them All." Professor Andrew Knight, an animal welfare expert, veterinarian, and professor from the UK, who has long been dedicated to alternatives to animal testing, veterinary education reform, and plant-based diets for cats and dogs, will be invited. He will share feasible alternatives to animal testing in the medical field, medical education models that do not require animal sacrifice, and evidence-based recommendations for plant-based diets for cats and dogs, drawing on his own experience and years of research. |
| IV. | During the course, Ms. Chang Sheng-man, Chairperson of the Taiwan Association for Rodent Protection, and Mr. Lin Hong-rui, Chairperson of the Taiwan Animal Equality Association, will be invited to analyze domestic policies, situations, and market conditions regarding animal testing and pet diets, respectively. Through the sharing of scientific data, case studies, and international trends by domestic and international experts, participants will be guided to break free from traditional thinking and, with a pragmatic and rational scientific spirit combined with innate human empathy, rethink the positive connection between humans and animals from laboratories to classrooms, from medical sites to daily life, and build a harmonious future of coexistence. |
