| I. | In accordance with the minutes of the first preparatory meeting for the 114th Academic Year Student Music Competition and Teacher-Student Folk Song Competition in our city. |
| II. | To provide a stage for students in our city to showcase their musical talents, promote the advancement and development of music education, cultivate students' and teachers' interest in learning folk songs and mother tongues, promote folk songs, and implement mother tongue music education, the key matters of the aforementioned competition are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Competition Categories: |
| 1. | A new category, "Elementary School (Open Group)," has been added to the xylophone (marimba) solo category in the 114th Academic Year Student Music Competition of our city. |
| 2. | In addition to the national competition categories, the music competition will include 18 non-national competition categories, such as wind ensemble, harmonica, guzheng, and music composition or song composition, following past practice. A total of 110 categories and subcategories will be included (detailed regulations are provided in the attachment). The added categories are unrelated to the representation rights for the 114th Academic Year National Student Music Competition. |
| 3. | Teacher-Student Folk Song Competition: Taiwanese Hokkien category, Matsu dialect category, Hakka dialect category, Taiwanese indigenous language category, Southeast Asian language category (including songs sung in languages other than English from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Cambodia). |

| 1. | Solo and Small Ensemble Competitions (Recorder Ensemble, Harmonica Ensemble, Harmonica Quartet, Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, Piano Trio, Piano Quintet, String Quartet, String Ensemble, and Choir, etc.): October 14 (Tuesday) to November 21 (Friday), 114. |
| 2. | Large Ensemble Competitions (Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Children's Band, Chinese Orchestra, Marching Band, and Silk and Bamboo Chamber Music): December 2 (Tuesday) to December 12 (Friday), 114. |
| 3. | Teacher-Student Folk Song Competition: November 7 (Friday), 114. |

| (4) | Registration Period: From September 2 (Tuesday) to September 9 (Tuesday), 114. (Postmark date applies; late submissions will not be accepted). |
| (5) | Registration Method: All registrations must be completed online (http://163.30.153.4/Index/index.asp). After online registration, print and obtain official approval for the registration form. Mail the original form via registered express mail (for music competitions, please send to Xinshi Elementary School; for teacher-student folk song competitions, please send to Ximen Elementary School) to complete the registration process (please indicate "Music Competition" or "Teacher-Student Folk Song Competition Registration" on the envelope). Each registration form is for a single competition category only. |
| (6) | Drawing for Performance Order and Prescribed Pieces: September 30 (Tuesday), 114, at 2:00 PM at Xinshi Elementary School, Pingzhen District, Taoyuan City. |
| (7) | Team Leader Meeting for Ensemble Competitions: |
