Taoyuan City 114th Academic Year Student Dance Competition Implementation Guidelines

Subject:Attached is the "Implementation Guidelines for the 114th Academic Year Student Dance Competition in Taoyuan City" for your reference. Please be informed.
Explanation: 
1.In accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for the National Student Dance Competition of the 114th Academic Year.
2.The revised and newly added items in the Implementation Guidelines for the 114th Academic Year Student Dance Competition in this City (hereinafter referred to as "these Guidelines") are as follows:
(1)Article Nine:
1.Paragraph 4, Subparagraph (1): Amended to "...However, props, scenery, and non-competitors are not allowed on stage."
2.Article Eight, Paragraph (3), Subparagraph 3: Amended to "Violation of Article Six, Paragraph 1 of these Guidelines regarding the number of participants in each group category: If the number of participants exceeds or is less than the specified amount, the registration will not be accepted. During check-in, if the number of participants exceeds the 'Number of Participants' listed on the participant roster, 1 point will be deducted from the total average score for each person exceeding the limit. If the number of participants is less than the specified amount for the group category, 1 point will be deducted from the total average score for each person short."
(2)Article Eleven:
1.Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2: Amended to "Collection of materials: Check-in pass (1 for individual category; 2 for group category), 2 teacher/supervisor passes (for viewing in the audience), 1 broadcast pass, 2 photography passes, 6 prop passes (6 for non-group A, 8 for children's dance; 8 for group A, 10 for children's dance)."
2.Paragraph 3: Newly added as "(1) After completing check-in, broadcast personnel shall proceed to the sound control area with their broadcast pass for a sound check to confirm the integrity of the audio files. (2) Broadcast personnel should arrive at the sound control area 5 teams before their respective performance. When their team's performance is about to begin, please inform the event's sound control personnel of the music playback timing. If broadcast personnel are not present at the start of the competition, the event organizers will not proactively assist with music playback, and the responsibility will lie with the participating teams. (3) Photography personnel may enter the photography preparation area 3 teams before their respective team's performance to wait and must affix their photography pass to their arm for identification. During non-photography periods, personal photography equipment should not be placed in the photography area to avoid disrupting the photography operations of other participating teams."
(3)Attachment Two:
1.Paragraph 3: Amended to "..., music playback will not be provided..."
2.Paragraph 9: Amended to "...ring the bell 30 seconds before exiting to announce departure. Please evacuate the stage immediately under the direction of the staff."
(4)Attachment Five, Article Thirteen: Amended to "..., prop passes (6 for non-group A, 8 for children's dance; 8 for group A, 10 for children's dance)."
(5)Attachment Six: Newly added "Ballet Individual Category Designated Dance Music Repertoire."
3.Key details of the aforementioned competition are summarized as follows:
(1)Competition Venue: Gymnasium of Jian Guo Junior High School, Taoyuan City. (Address: No. 20, Jiaxin Street, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City 330043).
(2)Competition Dates: From November 21, 114 (Friday) to November 23, 114 (Sunday), from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule will be arranged with Area 1 first, then Area 2.
(3)Registration Period: From October 7, 114 (Tuesday) to October 14, 114 (Tuesday).
(4)Registration Method:
1.Online Registration: Please visit the National Student Dance Competition Information Website (https://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw/) to log in and complete the registration information. Then, print 4 copies of the paper registration form (including the participant roster) online. After stamping with the school's official seal to certify that participants have formal student status, submit 2 copies to the organizing unit of this city, and keep the other 2 copies for yourself (to be brought to the city and final competitions for check-in and verification). Participants who do not register will not be allowed to compete.
2.Mailing Registration Forms: Mail the paper forms via registered express mail by October 14, 114 (Tuesday) (postmark as proof) to Zhongxing Junior High School, Taoyuan City (Address: No. 122 Wenzhong Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City 330059, Attn: Special Education Group, Counseling Office, Phone: 03-2720018 ext. 640, 600). This will complete the registration process. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3.When filling out the registration form, please accurately fill in the dance performance time, music information, and number of props to facilitate the competition schedule arrangement.
(5)Drawing of Lots and Team Leader Meeting:
1.Date: October 29, 114 (Wednesday) at 1:30 PM. Those who are late will have their lots drawn by the organizing unit in public, and no objections will be accepted. After the lots are drawn, the list cannot be changed.
2.Location: First Conference Room, Zhongxing Junior High School, Taoyuan City. No separate notification will be issued.
3.The drawing of lots will commence after the team leader meeting. All participating schools must send representatives to attend to avoid forfeiting their rights.
4.The registration process for this competition involves important rights for students and the opportunity to represent the nation. Therefore, please ensure that your school disseminates the competition information to students and parents through communication books or notices, and not solely through online announcements or bulletin boards, to protect students' rights.
5.In accordance with Article Twelve of these Guidelines, students, team staff, and all personnel participating in this competition shall be granted official (business) leave by their respective schools or organizations. The Bureau will not issue separate leave certificates or attendance certificates.
6.These Guidelines can be downloaded and reviewed on the National Student Dance Competition Information Website (https://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw/).
